Our task was to redesign the principal bedroom en-suite for our clients who are avid travellers and wanted a luxurious hotel-like ambience in their suite. They desired high-end brands such as Gessi and Lusso to be incorporated into the design. We adore the black bath and toilet pan, the double vanity sink and the antique brass fittings.
The design of this bathroom required the sourcing of high-quality nero marquina marble, large-format porcelain tiles, and a stunning book-matched tile to serve as the focal point behind the floor-standing bath.
We put a lot of effort into the detailing and design of this suite. For the floor, we used a 20mm solid Nero marquina marble to frame the space with a 10mm porcelain mosaic inset. In collaboration with the contractors, we ensured that the floor was precisely flush, with each corner mitred, and the mosaic and marble aligned perfectly to the walls.
We are enamoured with every aspect of this bathroom, but our favourite features are the numerous lighting levels, including strip lights on the shower shelf, trim less downlights, and ambient lighting around the vanity and mirrors.
