A characterful period building in Holmfirth, given a new life as a self-service office space. The brief was to bring in flexibility and modern facilities, new meeting spaces, upgraded amenities, while being careful never to lose what made the building special in the first place.

We developed the scheme from early concept through to detailed drawings for trades, working through every stage of the design in depth so the ideas would translate properly once built.

The basement became a dedicated members' area, split into two distinct moods: an open-plan collaborative space on one side, and a handful of private meeting rooms on the other, scaled from a single quiet call to a team of four.

Our favourite part was getting that balance right, keeping the building's original character intact while giving it a genuinely useful new lease of life.
