Interior Design Project Reveal: North Defence Group HQ, Elland, West Yorkshire We're proud to finally share a commercial interior design project we've been quietly working on behind the scenes.

Studio Said has been working with North Defence Group on the interiors of their UK expansion, a significant new commercial fit-out in Elland, West Yorkshire. As their appointed interior designers, our involvement began early: from initial landlord conversations and building regulations, right through to bespoke joinery, final finishes, and the coordination of a brilliant team of local contractors and manufacturers. The brief covered the full breadth of the building. The reception design sets the tone on arrival. Private offices and meeting room interiors give the team focused, professional environments to work in. And a café space has been designed to bring everyone together, a social heart at the centre of a busy, growing organisation.

Then there's the boardroom.
Fully glazed and towering five metres above the manufacturing floor, it's a workspace interior that says everything about who North Defence are without needing to say a word. Every visitor who walks in can see exactly what they're made of. Literally.

Throughout the project, we were committed to delivering through local trades and manufacturers, keeping skills and investment in the community that North Defence call home.
